Rennosuke Fukuda, violin (Japan)

 

Born in 1999. Started playing the violin at the age of three. Studied in Japan under the guidance of Machie Oguri. At present, he studies with Svetlana Makarova and Pavel Vernikov in the Lausanne Conservatory (Switzerland). He won his first competition at the age of four and has been giving concerts on Japanese national TV and radio since then. In 2013, he won the 1st prize and prize “Virtuoso” at the 15th International Violin Competition in Kloster-Schoental (Germany). In 2014, he became a winner of the Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition for Young Musicians in Austin (US) and debuted with the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra. In addition, he performed with Osaka, Kansai and Okayama Philharmonic Orchestras, Hiroshima Symphonic Orchestra, collaborated with famous conductors, such as Giancarlo Guerrero, Kazuki Yamada, Seikyo Kim. The musician pays serious attention to charitable projects. In particular, in 2013 he performed in Paris at the UNESCO charity concert to support earthquake victims in Japan.
